Stemmons Towers is a landmark property consisting of four (4) office towers situated on Stemmons Freeway between Medical District Drive and
Inwood Road. This classic property used to be known as the river bottom, as the Trinity River flowed through the area until the levy was built
and originally catered to small tenants who wanted an outside view.
The East Tower was developed in 1960 by Stemmons Towers Company, which consisted of Mr. John Stemmons and his Industrial Properties Company
and Mr. William E. Cooper. It was a complement to the opening of Interstate 35, the Trade Center and Market Hall. The North, South and West
Towers were developed by Industrial Properties through the mid 1960's. |
